His son, Nicholas Baer confirmed his dad’s passing and he shared this sad news on the social media saying, he passed away after a fight with cancer.

John Baer was a sports director. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Baer worked at Broadcast Park. His program, Boom Times of the Week is watched by many people.
