Gary announced his wife’s passing news on his official Facebook Page, the statement reads,
I don’t know the best way to say this, and I’m sure better words will come at some point, but my wife of 26 years Jean Marty passed away suddenly this evening.
I think she went out the way she would want to go…sitting on the sofa watching cooking shows on TV. Please keep her in your prayers.

Gary Cannalte’s wife Jean Marty, is a seventh grade Language Arts teacher at Savanna Oaks Middle School in Fitchburg and his son Charlie will be in fourth grade at Sugar Creek Elementary School in Verona.
