Residents of Ternopil warned of a possible air raid
Residents of Ternopil warned of a possible air raid. The corresponding appeal to the people was published by the mayor of the city Sergei Nadal.
“We in Ternopil received information about a possible air raid alert,” the mayor warns.
He urged people to turn off the lights in houses and apartments and go down to shelters.
“In this regard, for the purpose of masking, we turn off the outdoor lighting. Please turn off the lights in houses and apartments. Be careful, as soon as you hear the alert, go down to the shelter,” the statement says.
At the same time, city residents tell RBC-Ukraine that they already hear the sounds of sirens. Some people stay at home, some move towards bomb shelters.
The city turned off the lighting on the main streets.
“Air raid alert. I’m sitting in an apartment in the area of a load-bearing wall. The kid is in the bath. I see no point in going to the shelter,” a resident of the city writes.
“We have a siren, we are probably going to the basements. I warn you in case I disappear from the connection,” a resident of Ternopil comments on the situation.
