The actor announced in a tweet that he is leaving Twitter and that he wants to share a clip of his very first cartoon before leaving the social media site.
Carey claimed that he co-wrote the cartoon with his friend and director Jimmy Hayward (Jonah Hex) and that the idea for the cartoon was derived from a picture he had done of an angel beckoning a lighthouse keeper in a storm.
According to him, a lighthouse keeper’s job is to lead ships safely through a perilous night. The title for the animated clip, which is just over a minute long, reads, “Here’s a cartoon I did with my friend Jimmy Hayward.
It is based on a picture I did of a crazy old lighthouse keeper who is naked in a storm, calling out to angels and lighting a lantern to lead us safely through the perilous night.
Carey continued by expressing her love for her fans and following. Tweet terminated.

The actor posted a video of the animated character singing to the skies while his red hair and beard were being tossed by the wind.
With just a few sentences, the actor conjured up the amusing and entertaining persona of the lighthouse keeper, who is voiced by Carrey.
This appears to be one of Carey’s numerous pranks, especially after he declared in April that he wished to live a tranquil life while promoting Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
