A violin prodigy and singer, Karolina Protsenko mourns for the loss of her Great-Grandma. Let’s see, how did Babushka Jenia die and her cause of death in detail.

How did Babushka Jenia die?

The young musician shared the tragic news on her social media page saying,

“My beloved great-grandmother passed away! And my heart is broken…

She was my last great-grandparent and I miss her so much! She played a big role in my life! She was there when I was born and up until I was 6 years old, she was taking care of me whenever I stayed at her house!

When we moved to the US 8 years ago from Ukraine, I never thought that I won’t see her again…

She was a very big fan of my violin music!

She watched all of my videos and knew which ones got the most views! She would call us every week ever since we moved to find out how we were doing…

My great-grandmother is greatly missed and it breaks my heart that I never got a chance to hug her and see her beautiful eyes and play my violin for her before she passed…

I love you Babushka Jenia!!!

Until we meet again…”

Sorry for your loss, there truly are no words to express such feelings. My father passed when I was just 16 years of age, 48 years ago. Your music is wonderful what a gift you have. Stay well stay happy and remember all of the family that came before you. My grandfather, my father’s father came to America in 1909 as a young man, though I never met him I too think of him often.

Kevin Ahern commented,

So sorry for your loss. You were blessed to have had her in your life, however short. I never even had the opportunity to meet any of my grandparents, let alone great-grandparents.

Praying for you and your family during this sad time.
