Russian pause: The Russian troops are forced, because of their losses, to take an operational pause and will not go to Kyiv.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a briefing by Advisor to the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich.

“The enemy has an operational pause, but it was not taken voluntarily, but because of heavy losses … The enemy continues to accumulate to the west of Kyiv, but we are inflicting artillery strikes on him. We slowed down their pace, and now they are not going to Kyiv,” Arestovich said.

He also stressed that Sumy is completely under the control of Ukraine, and the Russian troops around the city are demoralized. There are no active actions at the moment.

The sudden undermining of the dam of the Kyiv hydropower station (HPP) is excluded. Today, additional protection was installed.

It is reported that the staff of the Kyiv HPP installed a super-aggregate cover of the hydroelectric unit for additional protection.

“In combination with other measures, the building of the Kyiv hydroelectric power station is reliably protected from the enemy. No preparatory work is being carried out for a possible raising of the gates of the spillway dam. If necessary, we will gradually drain the water from the Kyiv reservoir. The station personnel are on-site and will not allow a sudden explosion of the dam. Accordingly, no flooding There will be no Kyiv,” the message says.

The company also urged the people of Kyiv to remain calm and not be subjected to information attacks.
