His close buddy Tobi Bakre announced his passing on Instagram on Thursday morning. Tobi said on his Twitter profile after posting a photo of himself and Rico.

“This is how I will always remember you, rest in peace, dear brother,” was written on the picture. Rick Swavey was critically injured and hospitalized in a horrifying vehicle accident on Tuesday.
Friends and famous people launched a fundraising event for the former Big Brother Naija Season 3 contestant. Tobi Bakre, an ex-housemate from Nigeria, appealed for Rico’s assistance on his Twitter page.
When posting a photo of Rico Swavey in the hospital on Instagram, it was stated that the accident victim had been given life support.
“Please help save Rico,” he tweeted. He was in a terrible car accident, therefore we have to keep him on life support and keep paying the mounting medical expenditures while we wait for a miracle from God.

What happened to Rico Swavey?
On Tuesday, Alex Asogwa, aka Alex Unusual, a fellow reality television personality, posted information about the accident on her Twitter profile and requested money on her Instagram page.
She said in her letter, “Whatever you can do to support them will be greatly appreciated as he is struggling for his life and on life support.

Rico Swavey is now on life support after being engaged in a horrific accident, so he is not in a fit state to manage his social media. While doctors are attending to him and his condition is critical, his management asked for support and well wishes in a letter.
Other celebrities and media personalities also joined in soliciting support for Rico across various social media platforms. Prayers were also being held on Twitter spaces for the star.
Rico Swavey cause of death
On Tuesday, Rico was in a horrifying car accident. His fellow Big Brother Naija season 3 ex-housemate, Alex Unusual, broke the dreadful news to him.
Alex announced this on her Twitter account. When she left the hospital, Rico Swavey was still being resuscitated, according to her.
As a result of Rico’s dangerous predicament, she pleaded with the public to remember him in their prayers.
The exact circumstances of the collision, including its location, are still unknown. However, a video of Rico’s car reveals the full extent of the damage. The windshield was broken, and the front of the car was damaged.

Who was Rico Swavey?
Patrick Fakoya, a Nigerian lawyer, artist, actor in movies and reality TV shows, social media influencer, and former BBnaija season 3 housemate, was born in 1993 into the lovely Fakoya family.
Rico was a housemate on Big Brother Naija in season 3’s Double Wahala and was 26 years old at the time. He belongs to the Yoruba ethnic group or tribe, is from the South of Nigeria, is a citizen of that country, and practices Christianity.
Rico Swavey has roughly seven siblings, and they all supported him while his season of the show was on. As it was, he found growing to be a lot of fun.
He attended the esteemed Babcock University for his studies and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from there.
Notably, his certifications for the West African Examination Certificate and First School Leaving Certificate are complete.
Rico Swavey: Career
