Bryson’s agent confirms the news of Jon’s passing. Throughout his life, Jon has faced several health challenges.
Jon DeChambeau cause of death
Jon DeChambeau suffered from diabetes and kidney failure. Due to a protracted struggle with diabetes, both of his kidneys failed in 2014. He required a transplant in 2017 at the age of 57. Bryson completed his debut season with the LIV Golf Series last week in Miami. His team, the Crushers, was eliminated in the semifinals. It is believed that Jon DeChambeau cause of death was diabetes. However, Jon DeChambeau cause of death has not been officially revealed by his family.
DeChambeau honored his father, Jon, in 2020 on the occasion of Father’s Day. He shared a photo of the father-son NCGA competition in which they were both holding the winning medal. He wrote, “Happy Father’s Day to my dad who has always pushed me further than I thought I could go and believed in me to see it through”
The eight-time PGA Tour winner’s father has been very encouraging. He was a professional golfer, so he was familiar with the positives and negatives of the game. The local golfer showed his son the appropriate swings and techniques, which he later improved by incorporating science.
What happened to Jon DeChambeau?
Bryson DeChambeau’s devotion to his parents has been evident to all of his followers. It conveys his gratitude for all the assistance he has received. After winning the U.S. Open in September 2020, he became emotional as he called his parents to tell them about the achievement. He won by six shots at Winged Foot Golf Club, and when he saw his parents on the big screen, he started crying. That moment was important for all fans and a pro golfer.
He wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for his parents, which is why tears were streaming down his face. The family of the LIV member witnessed him playing live on the course during the 2019 U.S. Open. Thousands of spectators were preparing to watch Pebble Beach’s most difficult golf test.
Jon was ecstatic to watch his son playing golf at the highest level possible. The match that took place during Father’s Day weekend was the icing on the cake. It was difficult for Jon to be able to watch his son play after losing his left leg due to diabetes and kidney failure. But things improved for the pair after a successful kidney transplant in 2017, and he could observe his son’s play live.
