On Saturday, the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office discovered two bodies inside a house. Deputies headed to the residence in the Town of Wolf River at around 5:15 a.m.
The fatalities were deemed “suspicious” by the sheriff’s office. A person of concern is being detained by the police.
The death of the beloved couple has shocked and saddened the entire neighborhood. According to accounts, the son opened fire on his parents, instantly killing them.

The person of interest was behaving strangely while at the YMCA, according to a deputy with the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office. The person of interest was identified by the ID they used to enter the building.

Fox Valley Metro Police wrote on Facebook, “During the arrest, there was a lot of police at the YMCA. However, the YMCA is back to normal and there is no threat to the community.”
