The 20-year-old resident of the house, Jaylin Powell, shot a gun while the adolescent was outdoors, the chief told 16 WAPT News. The victim was shot in the head.
According to reports, elder brother(Jaylin Powell) thought someone was breaking into the house without realizing his younger brother was getting ready for school, unfortunately led him to shot the 14 year-old.
After being transported, he passed away at the University of Mississippi Medical Centre. After being detained, Powell was given a second-degree murder charge. The chief stated that the inquiry into Powell’s gunfire is still ongoing and that the victim’s name has not been made public.
