Dan Fowlie Obituary

Dan was such a professional and perfectionist! As the old saying goes “It can be a blessing and a curse!” The first year he had himself so stressed out, wanting to do a GREAT job for us, that he spent hours sitting with us learning to say names and words that although common here to us, others find a bit hard to say! Like our rodeo’s name, Santiam was hard at first, and then Willamette Valley, and let’s not forget Freres Lumber Co., and even Sublimity, just to name a few! He was a quick learner and perfected them all! We did our best to reassure him that he did a great job, hoping to help him not be hard on his perfectionist self!
