After 20 years of marriage, Toni Collette and Dave Galafassi have chosen to dissolve their union. In a joint statement posted on the former’s recently reactivated Instagram account, the couple announced their divorce.

Collette and Galafassi are “unified” in their choice, according to the statement, and will part ways with “respect and care for one other.” The now-divorced couple stated that their children were of “paramount significance” to them and that they would still maintain their family unit, just in a “different shape.”

The divorce was announced soon after Dave Galafassi was seen in pictures released by The Daily Mail holding hands with a mystery lady who was later revealed to be chiropractor Shannon Egan on the beach.

The 50-year-old actress announced Wednesday that she and the 44-year-old singer were divorcing after nearly 20 years of marriage on her recently launched Instagram account.

The joint statement, which was accompanied by a picture of a floral arrangement that read “PEACE & LOVE,” began, “It is with grace and thankfulness that we announce we are divorcing.”

The statement read, “We part with continuous regard and care for one other. We are unified in our choice. “Our children are everything to us, and we will continue to thrive as a family, even if in a different form,”

An online bio states that Egan has more than 15 years of medical experience, is passionate about healthy living, and has expertise in “women’s health, mind-body connection, and children’s health.”

Additionally, she is passionate about “empowering [ing] women to live a calm, connected, and inspired existence.” Egan enjoys treating youngsters and “watching them realize their full potential, confident in their bodies, and be full of vitality,” according to the biography.

Egan developed a fascination for medicine as a result of her health issues caused by a chronic ailment. The biography says: Shannon is aware of the complexity of health and the necessity for an integrative approach, both medically and holistically, thanks to her health struggles while recovering from a chronic disease.

During her years of illness and recuperation, the chiropractor reportedly “grew intrigued with the emotional experience of illness” and had a “deep knowledge” of what it was like to battle a life-threatening condition.

Her encounters inspired “a lifetime of inquiry into meditation, spiritual development, and the mind-body link.” With a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master in Chiropractic, Shannon Egan left Macquarie University in 2004. After being pictured with Dave Galafassi at Australia’s Manly Beach, she recently made headlines.

Before Shannon Egan’s wife revealed that Dave Galafassi and Shannon Egan had decided to separate and file for divorce, the two were recently seen together on a Sydney beach.

Galafassi and Egan were captured kissing and cuddling on the beach after being seen taking a morning swim in the sea in pictures obtained by the Daily Mail.

According to the article, the couple arrived at the beach at about 7:30 AM and spent 15 minutes swimming before getting coffee together. The pair were alleged “all over each other,” according to a witness. The two were also spotted conversing in-depth in one of the pictures.

While Galafassi has not yet commented on the pictures or his outing with Egan, Toni Collette, the former’s wife, confirmed that the couple is divorcing immediately after the pictures became public.

Collette and Galafassi wed in a Buddhist ceremony the next year after they first met in 2002. Sage and Arlo are their joint children, and they may continue to co-parent even after their divorce.

Drummer Dave Galafassi is from Australia and is a member of Toni Collette & the Finish. He was born and reared in Australia’s New South Wales. He studied drumming when he was a teenager.

Before joining the Sydney indie band Gelbison, Galafassi participated in several regional music ensembles. In 2003, they published 1704, their debut studio album, along with a few singles. Four people made up the band: Edo and Nadav Kahn on vocals, guitar, and piano; Pete Farley on bass guitar; Dave Galafassi on drums.

He and his wife founded Toni Collette & the Finish in 2006 after he left the group. Later, Pete Farley, a fellow “Gelbison” of Galafassi, joined them. In October 2006, the group’s debut album, Beautiful Awkward Pictures, was made available.

At the “Sydney Opera House,” the band recorded their first broadcast performance in November 2006 for “Max Sessions.” This had one of the greatest ratings when it aired in January 2007. After their debut album, “Toni Collette & the Finish” didn’t put out any more music.

Who is Toni Collette?
