Who is Eugenijus Kavaliauskas?

Eugenijus Kavaliauskas is a Lithuanian wildlife photographer who has received numerous awards over the years. The majority of the photographs in his online portfolio are of raptors.

By studying them in a forest close to his home, he got the notion to photograph an ant. The photo’s unsettling impact on viewers was the result of careful manipulation of the lighting and shadows.

According to Eugenijus Kavaliauskas, how one experiences terror or amazement depends on their perspective. He claimed that insects were horrible to him before he began taking microscopic photographs of them. But his perspective had shifted today.

According to him, the image of the ant is an illustration of heavenly designs and hidden miracles beneath our feet.

Eugenijus Kavaliauskas’s Interview

According to Eugenijus Kavaliauskas , who spoke with Insider, living close to a forest made it simple for him to trap an ant. He continued by saying that instead of taking a picture of an ant running around the ground in an uninteresting manner, he decided to photograph it under a microscope.

Eugenijus Kavaliauskas claims that he always searches for small details, hidden edges, and shadows. His primary objective in photography is to make discoveries. He claimed that the ability to witness God’s creations and the works of art created by the Creator fascinates him.

In an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital, Eugenijus Kavaliauskas asserted that Nikon’s rivalry “created a miracle” for him. “I have won several tournaments, but I have never encountered and received this kind of attention before”, he said to Fox News Digital.

It is much more unexpected than the ant portrait, he claimed. Kavaliauskas explained how his goal as a photographer and artist is to reveal the “unseen” in his work. I’m seeking the hidden perspective, he declared. He said it is only the angle of view and the light, adding that it doesn’t matter if the subject is a portrait of a person or an ant.

Eugenijus Kavaliauskas stated that he hopes that his shot of an ant will motivate many others, including nature photographers, to “take a deeper look at the world around us.”
Everywhere you look, a new universe is waiting to be found, he added.

How much did Eugenijus Kavaliauskas win for this Viral Ant face Photography?

Eugenijus Kavaliauskas didn’t win the competition’s highest honor, despite the fact that the image went popular online.

In a Nikon photography contest, Eugenijus Kavaliauskas won first place for his excellent rendering of an ant’s face. The image was spectacular, but it didn’t take home the competition’s top prize. For his close-up image of an ant, Kavaliauskas won a Nikon prize for $35.
