Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Matt Powell said:
“My thoughts are with Angie’s family and friends who are understandably shocked and devastated by what has happened, and on behalf of all involved in this investigation, I send condolences to them.
“We are aware of the impact Angie’s death has had and I’d like to thank the local community for its support. Although a suspect has been charged and we are not looking for anybody else in connection with her death, our enquiries are ongoing, and we continue to appeal for anyone with information which may assist us.”

Earlier, around 6:00 am in the morning, we were called to Idris Terrace in Plasmarl, Swansea. “The area will remain sealed off with an increased police presence while investigations continue.” According to Wales Online, neighbors expressed their disbelief and described the deceased victim as a “lovely lady.”
At Cockett Police Station, a major incident room has been established. Detective Superintendent Darren George of South Wales Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team stated that every attempt is being made to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
He also added, “We appreciate the support of the local community as we continue this investigation, and I would like to reassure them that, at this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this death.”
