Sheikh Jaber Al-Basaisi, a Saudi preacher, his wife, and their five children were killed in a car accident in Saudi Arabia. Let’s see more about the tragic road accident in detail.

What happened to Sheikh Jaber Al-Basaisi?

Sheikh Ahmed Al Basissy and 6 other of his family members were killed in a road accident.

A local newspaper said that Sheikh Ahmed Al Basissy and his family were traveling back from Makkah after making the Umrah, or smaller pilgrimage when a truck struck their vehicle.

The victims’ neighborhood was devastated in the aftermath of the fatal crash.

Road accident explained:

Sheikh Jaber Al-Basaisi and all his family members passed away in a painful traffic accident.

They were returning from performing Umrah rituals. 

The speeding truck collided with a car carrying them on a roadway close to the seaside city of Al Qunfudah.

Dr Muhammad Salah shared this sad news on social media saying,

“Sheikh Jaber Al-Basaisi and all his family members passed away in a painful traffic accident while they were returning from performing Umrah rituals!!

May Allah have mercy on them and accept them among the righteous. Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

“When Allah wants good for a slave, He puts him in action.” It was said: “How does he put him in action O Messenger Of Allah?” He said: “By making him meet up with the righteous deeds before death.”

Condolence posts:

Many Saudis have expressed their sorrow at the imam and his family’s departure online in sympathy posts. 

Some mourners shared the late clergyman’s speeches on video.

Additionally, the senior cleric’s death was mourned by Abdul Latif al-Sheik, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs.

The faculty and students at Ahmad’s Quran memorization school complex expressed their profound sorrow over his passing. Ahmad was a ninth-grader there.

According to Darwish Al Magrabi, the institution’s manager, he set an example for pupils with his morality and desire of knowledge.

Al Magrabi paid respect to the late cleric and praised him as a good and helpful person. The victims were interred after an Islamic funeral prayer at the Grand mosque.
