Chapel Thorborne, a neighbour, detailed the distressing image he witnessed when he returned home around midday Thursday, only steps from his front door.
“The head was underneath the car, and she was laying in the back- simply decapitated,” he explained. “And they disguised her.”
Thorborne claims to be acquainted with the pair, having briefly engaged with them on several occasions. He stated that the last time he saw the man was soon before the suspect was apprehended.

He described the suspect as “hurt, horrified, and disappointed.” “When he went by, I was like, ‘Yeah, they hacked somebody’s head off- just laying right there.'”
Residents said their main concern is for the children, and they are baffled as to how someone could commit such a horrific murder.
“After he cut her head off, he and his two companions came walking up,” Thorborne recalled. “They walked right past me and arrested him.”

Lieutenant Eamon Allen stated during a press conference that the crime occurred in the roadway outside the victim’s home.
What the Lieutenant Allen state?
Lieutenant Allen stated that the victim had two children who were not present at the time of the crime, while sources told the I-Dan Team’s Noyes that the children were inside the house at the time.
The I-Team obtained law enforcement records on the incident, which stated that the woman’s head was severed with a blade shortly before noon. “Children are there, scared to come… want their mom,” at 12:14 p.m.
The 7-year-old and 1-year-old girls, as well as a dog and two cats who were also inside the house, were taken into custody by CPS.
We’re told the two were in a relationship, but the victim obtained a temporary restraining order against the suspect, Hayward resident Jose Solano Landaeta, in April.

“This is a 25-year-old female… head was chopped off by a blade,” according to broadcastify radio transmission seen by ABC7.
The Sheriff’s Office simply characterised the weapon as a stabbing device, which had yet to be discovered as of Thursday evening.
