OBITUARY
Rygh E. Fortkamp, age 23 of Minster, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home in Minster. He was born on February 10, 2000, to Edward Fortkamp & Melissa Buening. His mother survives with her husband William Roche in Greenville and his father and his wife April survive in New Weston. He is also survived by his sister Cheyanne Fortkamp and brother William “Liam” Roche, grandparents: Gary & Juanita Buening, Cassella and Eugene & Grace Fortkamp, Rossburg, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his aunt Christine Moorman.
Rygh was a veteran of the US Navy and worked at Machine Concepts, Minster. He loved fishing, hunting, horseback riding, and anything to do with the outdoors. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 1, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, Ohio. Burial with full Military Honors to follow in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry on Friday, March 31, from 3 to 8 PM and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warriors Suicide Prevention Foundation www.wspfoundation.org. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
