Who was Phil Sarver?

Phil graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree and Edinboro University with a master’s. Pennsylvania serves as the location of both universities. Phil Sarver had a laugh that people enjoyed hearing and that made them feel better.

His chuckle was contagious. His chuckle spread to everyone. He lived a long life without ever experiencing any sadness or rage. He had a high reputation among his family and peers in his circle of friends since he was kind to others and didn’t put himself first. He was the type of generous man who delighted in assisting others, especially those who were in need.

Everyone had great respect for him since he was such a morally upright person. He was both a role model for his fellow pupils and a teacher throughout his time at North East High School. He was an extraordinarily gifted and enthusiastic teacher.

He had a positive impact on the lives of many boys over the course of more than 50 years, and thanks to his extensive engagement in alumni events, he was able to stay in contact with the men those boys finally became.

To be the best teacher and mentor he could be for his pupils, he never stopped learning new things and developing his teaching techniques throughout his career.

He was able to continue giving them the greatest education possible as a result. Because he provided them with so much knowledge that was essential to their lives when they were in his class, his pupils will be indebted to him for the rest of their lives.

Joshua wrote: “I was once asked in college, what does chemistry mean to me and what can it bring to my life? Being a chem major of course, those questions were asked by our professors frequently..i never really had an answer then, but today that answer brings with it a new meaning….. Chemistry is everything to me…chemistry is my whole world..chemistry with my family…my beautiful wife…my precious boys..my very existance is encompassed around chemistry..Chemistry in my career!!!…YES, I am a chemist by trade..but truthfully chemistry has always been apart of me i just needed a reason to love it and make it mine..in all honesty, Chemistry, to me, can be best summed up in 2 words for those that know……..Phil Sarver❤️…he forever changed my life and i will never forget how great of a teacher, coach and friend that man was…rest easy Sarv…you are deeply missed.”

Christopher wrote: “When I was a senior in high school, I jokingly called Phil Sarver a “dork” after one of his corny (albeit awesome) jokes. He said I shouldn’t call people that, and was 100% serious. I was perplexed. He walked me down to the library and we looked up the definition in an unabridged dictionary. Needless to say, I laughed and learned (look it up if you need to). He taught us that being kind, decent and smart were three of the best characteristics you could possess. And he’s the reason I became a soccer coach — to serve people beyond myself. I’ll miss you, Sarv. Thanks for changing lives. ❤️ 🙏
