Mick Hutson, a brilliant photographer and a lovely human being has passed away at the age of 58. Emma Oliver posted this sad news on social media, saying,

I’m so sad today that an incredible artist Mick Hutson lost his battle with mental health. One of my most prized possessions and treasured memories was being first into his Ramblin’ Man studio and the gift of these photos. Rock photography royalty. So sorry the world and his closest friends and family have lost him. RIP Mick. We’ll miss you.

Mick was known for his unique photography skills and for his rocking photos. He posts his pictures on his Instagram page named, thehutsongallery and on Twitter page named, MickHutsonPhoto.

Who was Mick Hutson?

Mick Hutson was a famous photographer who works for Getty Images. Hutson, who was born in Newcastle, relocated to Aberdeen after his father landed a position in the oil and gas sector.

He continued in his father’s footsteps, but he never forgot his passion for live music. After arriving on land, he frequently headed to rock venues for a quick pint around 8 a.m.

He quit working on the rigs to pursue his passion for photography, earning a master’s degree while occasionally snapping shots of the bands of his friends.

After 25 years, he continues to work tirelessly, taking some of the most recognizable and iconic photos in history. His favorite subjects have included the late great Rik Mayall as well as such disparate figures as Marylin Manson and Christopher Lee.
