Botha told the Commission, “When we would talk about it, they used to punish me by putting pepper water in my mouth. I was only a child and younger than five.”

Phil Mphela, an entertainment commentator, also revealed on Twitter on Tuesday that the actress and comedienne had died at the age of 39.
