How did Jocelyn Morrison die?

The North Carolina women’s flag football teams 919 Chaos and Carolina Phoenix are mourning the loss of one of their players.

Jocelyn, a female football player for Phoenix, died following an accident. She was injured in the crash that occurred in North Carolina, and after being taken to the hospital, a lot of people prayed for her to get well.

Sadly, she was declared dead there after struggling to survive for several hours.  

Who was Jocelyn Morrison?

Jocelyn Morrison was a talented football player of Carolina Phoenix Women’s Football team. She was known for her infectious smile, goofy and quirky personality, and outspoken stubbornness. She impacted many young people’s lives.

A professional women’s football team called the Carolina Phoenix represents the Triad region of North Carolina in the Women’s Football Alliance. (WFA).

Simeon Stadium, in High Point, North Carolina, is where home games are played. The Phoenix won 5-1 in their 2007 X-Team debut before being promoted to Tier II in 2008 when they started playing often. 

The Phoenix continued to have success in Tier II, going 7-1 and winning their division before losing to the eventual champion Montreal Blitz in the playoff semifinals.

What happened to Jocelyn Morrison?

Jocelyn met with an accident yesterday and eventually passed away from the injuries.

The Phoenix football community has expressed their condolences following the passing of Morrison. She was remembered as a young lady with a lovely smile who was full of life.

919 Chaos NC and the Carolina Phoenix women’s football team have also sent their tributes to her family.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, Carolina Phoenix organization, and the WFA for the sudden loss of such a tremendous person,” East Tennessee Valkyrie wrote on their Facebook page. 

The Phoenix’s #4 wide receiver, Morrison, was a pleasure to know and will be sadly missed by many.

Jocelyn died unexpectedly in an accident. Condolences have been offered to the family of Jocelyn “Ghost” Morrison, Carolina Phoenix women’s football, and 919 Chaos NC Ladies Flag Football Team, who died in a car accident in North Carolina.

Morrison was branded with the name “Ghost”. Funeral plans for Jocelyn will be made public by her family.
