Is KSI a real boxer

Is KSI a real boxer: KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, a YouTube star, has taken up boxing in recent years, eventually deciding to turn professional and risk his health.

On 3 February 2018, the 28-year-old began boxing as an amateur when he faced off against former friend Joe Weller at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. And it was a successful night for KSI, who stopped Weller in the third round after a dominant performance.

After making his debut on the YouTube boxing scene, he turned his attention to American social media star Logan Paul.

The pair developed an aggressive rivalry that culminated in an amateur bout at the Manchester Arena on August 25, 2018.

It was controversially called a majority decision draw in an extremely close fight. One judge gave it to KSI by one point, but the other two saw it as a tie, 57-57. Paul dominated the early rounds but became tired as the fight progressed and the Brit took control.

However, due to the draw, there were calls for a rematch. As a result, the two rivals will meet again on November 9, 2019, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, but this time as professionals because they have lost their headguards.

It was another hard-fought battle, with both men giving it theirs throughout six rounds. And KSI won a split decision to begin his professional boxing career on a high note.

He hasn’t fought since, as his focus has shifted back to not only his YouTube content but also his music.

The uppercut was also a powerful weapon for KSI, who used it defensively while moving backward and offensively while moving forward. KSI’s footwork strategies are superior. The majority of the time he threw punches, they didn’t connect, which is probably a good thing. Because if these punches had landed on Logan, he would have most likely suffered arm injuries if he had been punching with any amount of force. This was the most egregious aspect of his boxing that I’d witnessed because he would rush in like a bull with punches that left him completely vulnerable to an interception. A good boxer understands how to fool their opponent. An experienced boxer, rather than punching when it is convenient, can either capitalise on their opponent’s mistakes or create opportunities by feigning punches, setting up combos, and positioning themselves to counter their opponent.
