Tim Cruz, the district attorney for Plymouth County, said Kingston police were informed by a family member of the two that they were dead inside the house at 257 Elm Street at about 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.

A spokesperson in the DA’s office confirmed to Boston 25 that the man and woman were husband and wife.
Police have deemed that there is no threat to public safety but local residents told Boston 25 they were still shaken by the news.
The deaths are being investigated by Kingston police and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to Cruz’s office. Members of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner were also spotted at the scene.
According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office, police responded to an Elm Street home around 11:15 a.m. after receiving a report of two deceased people on the property.
