According to reports, the comedian who became famous for his Yoruba parody of Big Brother Naija, the biggest reality TV show in Africa, passed away on December 21.

Owomoyela Nifemi passed away suddenly on Wednesday, and his fans are in complete shock after hearing this sad news. It was reported that Owomoyela Nifemi cause of death was cancer.

This is the another great loss for Peteru family as his dad died earlier this month. Peteru Comedy just laid to rest his father this year in November. He is apparently the only son in a large family of seven.
Who was Peteru comedy?
Nigerian comedian Owomoyela Oluwatobi Lawrence is an Ondo state native and a purchasing and supply graduate of the Polytechnic of Ibadan. He began his career as a dancer at the former University of Ado Ekiti (UNAD), now known as Ekiti State University (EKSU), but soon after he moved to Ibadan, he met some guys and decided to join them.
However, his role was the ‘ajasa’ part of the music, which was Fuji, and while doing that, he never saw comedy at all. Later, he joined a dance group called the Royal dancers.
He went to a programme in Ilorin, and one of the organizers came to tell him that the comedian named Firstborn, and he supported to start his comedy role.
Owomoyela Nifemi was survived by his mother and his four sisters. He is the last and only son in his family.
