The French organization announced Twisten “passed away last night” in a tweet. The player committed suicide, according to Vitality assistant coach Harry ‘Gorilla’ Mepham.
Twisten disclosed that he had been dealing with depression for some time and had previously sought treatment at a hospital for self-harming behavior in February 2023.
“We are deeply saddened by this devastating loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this difficult time,” Vitality stated.
“The whole Team Vitality organization is devastated by this news, and we will be stopping all communication for the rest of the day.”
