About Cody Ince

Ince, who was born on December 18, 1999, was engaged to Olivia Tucker. His parents, Tammy and Marty Ince of Luck, Wisconsin, as well as a sizable number of other family members and friends, are still alive.

Ince, a 2017 Wisconsin Football Coaches Association all-state selection, earned honorable mention All-Big Ten status in 2020.

In his career, which was marred by injuries, he participated in 29 games and made 10 starts. He skipped his final year of eligibility and graduated in 2022.

Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, in Polk County, in the northwest of the state, about one hour from the Twin Cities, is where Unity High School is situated.

In addition to being a talented college football player, he also built a name for himself in lacrosse, demonstrating his versatility as an athlete.

Along with his athletic accomplishments, Cody put a lot of effort into his studies, which earned him the well-deserved distinction of Academic All-Big Ten designation. But tragedy struck on July 15, 2023, when he suddenly departed away at home in the Grantsburg, Wisconsin, area.

Tyrone Tracy Jr., a Purdue receiver, said on Ince’s tribute page on Tuesday morning, “I have had the honor of knowing and playing with Cody while I was at the University of Iowa. He was a wonderful person in addition to being a fantastic teammate. He was always laughing and grinning, but I liked how seriously he handled his work on the pitch. He used to regularly bring in sunflower nuts or deer jerky, and he always made sure I received some. “It’s the little things that I will remember! Thank you Cody for being such an amazing person and friend!”

Cody Ince cause of death

It’s been a terrible day for the Hawkeye community. One of the previous players for Lowa football has passed away. On Tuesday morning, the school made a death announcement for Cody Ince, age 23.

An obituary for Ince said he died unexpectedly at his home near Grantsburg, Wisconsin on Saturday. The following statement from Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz was provided, however, the school did not specify when he passed away or what caused it.

After a productive yet injury-plagued playing career, Ince has recently quit the program after the 2022 season. Ince was a reliable blocker when he did get the chance to play in the COVID-shortened 2020 season, earning a spot on the honorable mention list for All-Big Ten.

However, following his typical collegiate experience and a number of ailments, Ince made the decision to forgo playing in his extra season and finish his tenure with the Hawkeyes.

Also, we noted that even the obituary had not yet given Cody Ince cause of death when he passed away over the weekend.

It’s heartbreaking to watch a young man who just graduated from college lose his life, regardless of how it happened. Yet another really depressing day for the University of Iowa neighborhood.

Add there is a lot of information on his cause of death online, but still, no official information brings the real cause. However, it is essential to await an official announcement before drawing any conclusions.
