Ronald “Hotboy Ronald” Redditt shared an emotional statement:
When they were young children living in the Desire public housing complex, Redditt and Davalie met. They had been “joined at the hip” ever since, according to Redditt.
It was merely [a] case of “you see me, you see him; you see him, you see me,” according to Redditt. As DJs spinning rhythms gave them permission to use the microphone at nightclubs in the 1990s, they began to rap together.
According to Redditt, both initially signed with Act Bad Records and eventually switched to Kings Entertainment. Also, as per Redditt, Davalie, who resided in the 9th Ward, was particularly well-known for the way he riffed his stage introductions.
According to 39-year-old Mastamynd Wdfo, he grew up listening to Davalie’s music. “That was unique. That was a party song. You felt like dancing, he remarked.
He was destined to go down in the annals of the 9th Ward. His music will endure forever, according to Wdfo. Davalie was close to his family, according to Redditt: “He never went away from no brothers, relatives, or kids.”
