Attention Steroid users don’t abuse them- Side effects and precautions

Attention Steroid Abusers – Side effects and precautions

Have you ever wondered how those massive bodybuilders grew so big? While some people gain muscle mass through a disciplined weight-lifting and nutrition programme, others gain muscle mass through the abuse of steroids.

We all know that steroids are bad for your health unless a doctor prescribes them for your specific needs. The question is, how well do we know the risks involved? Let’s resolve this problem today.

Commercially used Steroids are a type of chemicals created by humans to cure inflammation, swelling, anemia (Decreased red cell count in the blood), and as well as to those men who can’t produce enough testosterone.

These are similar to the hormones naturally secreted by the human body to combat problems such as inflammation and produce secondary sexual characters.

2 types of steroids used

  • Anabolic steroids and
  • corticosteroids

are the two types of steroids. Both of these medications are prescribed by doctors on certain occasions.

Corticosteroids are natural hormones generated by the body (Adrenal gland), thus taking them externally will have no adverse effects. These are prescribed by doctors for people who have swelling.

On the other hand, anabolic steroids are often misused by certain bodybuilders and sportsmen in order to get quick results without consulting a doctor. And it’s not like corticosteroids, which have a lot of adverse effects. Anabolic steroids are used by doctors to treat inflammation and low testosterone levels in males.

4 Routes of Steroids administration

Steroids can be taken

  • orally
  • by injection
  • through eye drops or
  • Intradermal patches

Steroids taken orally in the form of pills or fluids work throughout the body.

If steroids are used for inflammation in a specific area of the body, they will be injected.

It can be given in the form of eye drops or ointment for swelling in the eyes.

Intradermal steroids, like those taken on the skin, are only recommended for very short days. When used in large quantities over long periods of time, it can cause kidney problems and ulcers.

How are Steroids illegally abused?

“Illegal users or Abusers” are those who use more and more of a drug over and over again. These people will take dosages 10 to 100 times greater than those given by doctors for medicinal reasons.

Stacking method

Many steroid users utilize two or more different types of steroids at the same time. This method of taking steroids, known as stacking, is claimed to help users grow bigger faster.

6-12 week cycles method

Some drug addicts stack their dosages in 6-12 week cycles. The steroid user starts with modest dosages at the beginning of the cycle and gradually progresses to larger levels. Then they progressively reduce the quantity of steroids in the second part of the cycle.

Anyways, neither of these approaches has been proved to be safe.

Side Effects of Steroid abuse

Steroids do bulk up users, but they come with a lot of health concerns. True, steroid use promotes biceps to bulge, abdomen to ripple, and quads to balloon. But it is only on the surface. Users of anabolic steroids may be happy with themselves when they flex in the mirror, but they may cause issues on the inside. These issues might affect them for the rest of their life. Steroid usage, in fact, has been shown to shorten their lifespan.

  • Pimples pop up and hair fall out
  • Guys grow breasts and girls grow beards
  • Weight gain and increased appetite
  • Abdominal pain, indigestion, and chest irritation
  • Insomnia
  • Mood swings
  • Injury easily
  • Decreased skin thickness
  • Body stretch marks
  • Burning eyes

Although steroids taken through eye drops, do not cause many side effects, they do mix well with the blood when used continuously for long days. It can have the same bad effects as the side effects caused by steroid pills and IV steroids.

Steroid abuse cause infertility

Male fertility is harmed by anabolic steroids because they interfere with the hormone signals required for sperm production. When this happens, your natural testosterone production ceases. The amount of testosterone in the testicles drops dramatically as a result of this. The amount of harm done is determined by the drug dose, and the length of time a guy takes them. Most men’s sperm production will return in 3 to 12 months after they stop using the drug.

Men should not take anabolic steroids due to the substantial detrimental influence on male fertility and other health issues associated with these drugs.

What happens if a Diabetic patient took steroids?

When diabetic patients take steroids it can lead to high blood pressure or epilepsy. Therefore, it is important to check blood pressure and blood sugar levels frequently while taking the steroid. Sometimes diabetes can be caused by steroids.

Steroid abuse causes cataract

Sometimes steroids can cause cataracts and poor eyesight. It is best to seek medical help immediately if you notice changes in your eyesight while taking the steroid.

Side effects of steroids on bones

It can weaken bones when ingesting too many steroids. It can lead to osteoporosis problems. Thus there is a risk that the bones will break easily even if hit lightly. This is why doctors recommend taking calcium and vitamin D tablets while taking steroid medications. Walking and exercising with it will also strengthen the bones. Also, it is best for steroid users to avoid smoking and alcohol.

How to take steroids safely for beginners

If your mind is still set on using steroids for bodybuilding or whatever,

I strongly advise you to contact a professional healthcare trainer and a doctor about the legal steroid drugs to utilize them in an effective manner.

If you can’t spend much but still need steroids, one of my friends with 8 years of fitness and steroid experience will be able to assist you. However, I must state unequivocally that I do not condone these recommendations and am not liable for any actions taken as a result of them.

I highly advise you to begin with a simple 8-12 week cycle of 350-500 mg of any testosterone ester and see how it affects your body.

To prevent gynecomastia, take 0.5mg Arimidex every other day or 20mg Nolvadex every day.

You may add a different compound, and just one compound with testosterone, every new cycle after you’ve figured out how you react to testosterone to see how that new drug affects you. Begin with some milder forms of steroids.

DON’T DO THE FOLLOWING AT ANY COST

  • For your first cycle, start with more than testosterone.
  • As a novice, don’t use more than two steroid cycles in a row.
  • When it comes to your cycles, don’t take an Aromatase Inhibitor (AI).
  • Ignore the need for frequent blood tests both before and after the cycle.
  • Before you become a steroid specialist, try Trenbolone in any form.

FEW THINKS YOU SHOULD KNOW

  • If you’re new to a complex, always do your homework.
  • If feasible, start with a short ester when creating a new compound (NPP instead of Deca, Trenbolone acetate instead of enanthate, etc)
  • Everyone reacts differently to comparable chemicals; don’t accept someone else’s experience as gospel; test it out for yourself.

Finally, the most essential piece of advice I can give you is to stay away from Trenbolone. It’s the one chemical that I really despise. I’ve had to stop in the middle of a cycle previously because I couldn’t take the side effects, which are mostly psychological (Aggression, depression, etc.).

Steroid abuse treatment

Despite the fact that steroids do not provide the conventional euphoric “high,” they have the potential to create addiction and withdrawal symptoms. Steroid abuse should be handled similarly to any other drug issue.

Detoxification and inpatient rehab

One of the most effective approaches to treat people who are highly addicted to steroids is to place them in an inpatient treatment facility. It’s also an excellent choice for those who have struggled with depression, anxiety, or rage in the past.

Depending on the severity of the addiction and the necessity for detox, inpatient therapy can take anywhere from 28 to 90 days.

The first stage is to assist the person in safely detoxing. A medically assisted detox can help to alleviate the symptoms of steroid withdrawal and avoid complications.

Doctors even prescribe some medications during detox, including

  • Synthetic hormones – To help balance testosterone levels
  • Prozac or Effexor – Antidepressants
  • Clonidine – Help to reduce withdrawal symptoms
  • Aspirin and Ibuprofen – For pain relief
