“The club are deeply saddened at the loss of Aaron Malone Smyth, a Gael, a cherished family member, a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a grandson, a great grandson, a friend to many, a clubman. Aaron represented the club at all underage levels.

He played in Cusack Park in 2019, winning the 21A football final and went on to play adult football for us. He was never found wanting when a match was to be won.

Our sincere sympathies to Aaron’s family, Joanne, Robert, Lila and Emma and his many relatives, neighbours, friends and teammates.

Ar dheis de go raibh a ainm.”
