A young Australian actress who starred in an honorable picture passes away unexpectedly. This week, Sariah Saibu, a young woman with a bright future, died in a horrific car accident. She had high aspirations for her life and was a kind friend, daughter, and student. The many individuals who knew and loved her will feel her loss. The community Sariah leaves behind will miss her enthusiasm, vitality, and zest for life. Let’s see who is Sariah Saibu, what happened to her, and Sariah Saibu cause of death in detail.
How did Sariah Saibu die?
Perth native Sariah Saibu passed away unexpectedly this month after a car crash. She played the lead in a 2021 short film that won an award. Her family members claim she exuded “love and brightness.”
On January 30, Sariah Saibu, who acted in the Beautiful They short film that won an award in 2021, passed away. The performer, who was from Perth, was described as radiating “love and light” and, as one distraught relative said, “may her brilliant soul continue to shine.”
Her aunt Cassandra Colvin commented, “We lost our beloved Sariah this morning.” “I’m having a hard time putting into words the sadness that I and her family are feeling right now. “Rest in peace, lovely. We love you always.”
Who was Sariah Saibu?
Saibu portrayed Violet in the movie Beautiful They, which was shown at the Tribecca Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival. Australian actor Morgan Davies played Blue.
The film, which Cloudy Rhodes directed, is an LGBTQI coming-of-age surf romance that examines the subtleties of gender.
The project received two nominations in 2021: for Best Short Form Drama from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) and Best Direction of a Short Film from the Australian Director’s Guild.
The movie won the Best Film prize at the Queer Screen Mardi Gras in 2022 as well as the award for Best Australian Short Film from the City of Melbourne the following year.
Additionally, Saibu did modeling and appeared as a backup dancer in music videos, such as San Cisco’s SloMo from 2017 and Catlips’ Silver Smoke from 2015.
