At 6 am on Saturday, police were summoned to an address in Idris Terrace in the city’s Plasmarl neighborhood. Since then, many cops have remained there. Officers have shut off the area around the disputed property, and the 35-year-old local man who was arrested is being held at Swansea Central Police Station.
Police have verified that the deceased woman was 45 years old. It is believed that the victim and the suspect knew one another. A 45-year-old lady, Angie White from the Plasmarl was found dead, South Wales Police Swansea and Neath Port Talbot stated in a statement.

Murder charges have been brought against Plasmarl resident Daniel White, 35. He has been kept in detention on remand. Yesterday at six in the morning, emergency services were summoned to Idris Terrace.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Matt Powell said:
“My thoughts are with Angie’s family and friends who are understandably shocked and devastated by what has happened, and on behalf of all involved in this investigation, I send condolences to them.
“We are aware of the impact Angie’s death has had and I’d like to thank the local community for its support. Although a suspect has been charged and we are not looking for anybody else in connection with her death, our enquiries are ongoing, and we continue to appeal for anyone with information which may assist us.”
The police’s statement on the Plasmarl women murder?
Earlier, around 6:00 am in the morning, we were called to Idris Terrace in Plasmarl, Swansea. “The area will remain sealed off with an increased police presence while investigations continue.” According to Wales Online, neighbors expressed their disbelief and described the deceased victim as a “lovely lady.”
At Cockett Police Station, a major incident room has been established. Detective Superintendent Darren George of South Wales Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team stated that every attempt is being made to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
He also added, “We appreciate the support of the local community as we continue this investigation, and I would like to reassure them that, at this time, we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this death.”
