What happened to Sinkala Brighton?

Brighton Sinkala, better known by his stage name Big Head, was a prominent comedian from Zambia. He passed away today shortly after being hurt in a car accident in Kabwe.#ZambeziJuice

 

Popular comedian Brighton Sinkala has passed away from wounds received in a terrible car crash that happened earlier today in Kabwe District close to Mulungushi University.

Mr. Sinkala was a representative of the Ministry of Health who was well-known for his entertaining stage performances that enthralled many.

We regret to inform you that Brighton Sinkala has passed away. He passed away from wounds he got in a car accident in Kabwe early this morning. The Funeral will take place in Lusaka, and the body will be transported there from Kabwe.

How did the car crash happen?

Mr. Sinkala, a well-known comedian, was killed in an accident that happened this morning at around 6:00 a.m. on Great North Road close to Mulungushi Bridge.

In a statement to Mwebantu, Central Province Police Commanding Officer Daniel Moola acknowledged the occurrence.

“Brighton Sinkala, 53, a comedian from Lusaka, was driving a Mercedes-Benz with the license plate AID 6019, and one passenger, 78-year-old Musa Yusuf from Ndola when the tragedy occurred.

Another vehicle was a Nissan bus with the license plate number 6321AA25 that was being driven by Rashid Shabani, age 47, of Tanzania from south to north while carrying 45 passengers.

And a freight liner truck with the license plates BCC4195 and AEB 2641 that was broken down and stationed in the middle of the road by Sakala Emmanuel, age 43, of hse #A25 garden house Lusaka, were the other two vehicles, according to Mr. Moo

According to him, Mr. Sinkala’s high speed caused him to strike a stationary vehicle before spinning out and colliding with a bus that was traveling in the opposite direction.”As a result of the collision, the first car rested off the road on the left side.

The driver of the first car experienced severe pain in his right arm and other bodily aches, while his passenger experienced severe agony in his left leg, back, and chest. Every bus passenger made it out safely.

The first car had significant damage, the second car had damage to the front right fender and bumper, and the third car had damage to the back right bumper and lights, the man added.

Moola, Mr. The deceased’s body is in the mortuary at Kabwe Central Hospital, pending postmortem.
