Hunter Dorram, an ice hockey player, died as a result of injuries acquired in a fatal car accident on January 30, 2023, a Monday morning.
Hunter was persistent, inquisitive, and always mastered his tasks very fast. He was incredibly enthusiastic, and everyone who knew him appreciated his sense of humor.
Hunter was from Gypsum, CO. He was a senior at Fellowship Academy. He was born on October 19, 2000. He was regarded as an Offensive Player of the Year and Best Two-Way Player.

Car accident- Explained:
A 23-year-old, Hunter was killed Monday on I-20 near Waskom after being hit by a Freightliner truck tractor pulling a utility trailer.
The initial report says that the truck tractor was traveling westbound on I-20, when “the pedestrian ran into the roadway.”
Hunter, a 23-year-old Grand Prairie resident, was declared dead at the site, and the truck’s driver was reportedly unharmed.
What happened to Hunter Dorram?
Hunter died in a horrific accident on yesterday morning. The Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS) reports that around 7:10 p.m. on Monday, January 30, troopers were called to a collision on I-20, just west of Waskom.
According to DPS, James B. Ford, 56, of Tyler, was operating a semi that was heading west on I-20.
Authorities examined the dash cam footage from the 18-wheeler. Later, they discovered that Hunter J. Dorram, 23, of Grand Prairie, had run into the road from the west before being struck by the vehicle.
At the scene, authorities declared Dorram died. The police is looking into this matter.
