Police in Michigan have taken custody of a 36-year-old man with filed-down teeth after learning that he kidnapped a helpless woman, assaulted her sexually for three weeks, and threatened to “tear out her neck” if she didn’t comply with his orders.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson provided troubling details about the case that resulted in the arrest of Michael Barajas, 36, on December 8.
During the duration of the victim’s three-week incarceration, according to Swanson, Barajas threatened to bite her and rip out her throat and had filed his teeth down to points.

The 36-year-old man who kidnapped a lady and threatened to “tear out her throat” if she disobeyed him has been caught, according to the Genesee County Sheriff.
According to Michael Barajas, the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST) detained him last week after reports that a 20-year-old pregnant lady who had been arrested and subjected to sexual assault for three weeks had escaped.
Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson described the woman’s horrifying treatment in a video shared on Facebook on Wednesday.
Swanson claimed that the woman was on the street and in need of a shower and a place to stay. Also, Swanson said that when Barajas saw the woman, he took advantage of her circumstances by giving her a shower, food, and a place to stay.
He said that after the woman agreed to the offer, Barajas drove her to a run-down house and tied her to a bed in a room. Swanson did not specify if the house from which she was recounting her story—which was crammed with trash and possessions—was the one where she was confined.
He pointed to a window with screws holding it closed, but claimed that Barajas had fastened the windows shut. She was tied tightly to the bed while they abused her, and “this person exploited the opportunity to not only sexually assault her but also have individuals come over and traffic here,” Swanson said.
She repeatedly attempted to flee, succeeded in exiting the room, was shot at once, and other details, according to the sheriff. He claimed she had a medical emergency on December 8 and was attended to by nurses who saw she needed assistance.
Swanson claimed that throughout her whole stay at the residence, Barajas repeatedly made threats to bite her in the nick of her knick with his razor-sharp teeth.
He stated that Barajas made a threat to pull out her throat and bite her nick if she didn’t comply with what he had instructed her to do. Barajas’ teeth, which appear to be filed to points, can be seen in a photo of him that the sheriff then put up.

Also, Swanson claimed that Barajas allegedly coerced the woman to compose a letter referring to him as “her daddy” and groomed her by meeting her need for shelter. “He is a monster, this guy. I’ll stop here; if you observe the teeth that have been filed down and the threatening to rip out a throat, “said he.
GHOST conducted a raid on the residence and detained Barajas after the nurses informed the authorities of the woman’s need. He was charged with various offenses, including human trafficking, kidnapping, sexual assault, possession of methamphetamine and ecstasy, and more. The bail set for Barajas is $250,000. Swanson stated that the investigation is still ongoing and that additional suspects may be added.
The sheriff says the investigation is still ongoing and authorities are asking for tips on finding the other suspects. Anyone who knows something about the crime or any known associates of Barajas is being asked to call 911 or 810-257-3422.
