Who is Luis Alcaraz Pineda? Meet KSI's humble second opponent

MEXICAN The second of KSI’s two boxing opponents on Saturday night is scheduled to be Luis Alcaraz Pineda.

After a three-year absence, YouTube sensation KSI (actual name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji) is back in the ring.

Additionally, he intends to make up for a lost time by fighting twice in one night.

He will face 25-year-old rapper Swarmz, actual name Brandon Scott, in the opening match of the DAZN pay-per-view event at the O2.

And after that, he will fight the 23-year-old Pineda, who is unknown and was only brought in on the short notice.

The O2 Arena in London, England will host both contests on August 27, 2022. Alex Wassabi was originally supposed to fight KSI; however, Wassabi withdrew from the bout allegedly because of a concussion. Ivan Nikolov was originally supposed to be KSI’s opponent in his follow-up bout with Swarmz, but KSI was forced to withdraw from the match as it became clear that Nikolov was a white supremacist Neo-Nazi.

Who is Luis Alcaraz Pineda?

Jake Paul’s response to KSI’s New opponent

Jake Paul made a tweet as soon as KSI revealed his new 2nd opponent, and then he decided to delete the tweet for unknown reasons.

Jake said in his tweet,

“The latest tomato can make his debut 143lbs. The fans deserve better.”

But this tweet mostly got backfired for Jake. A few of the replies,

Why’s Jake talking on behalf of us? Luis is younger, has a better record, and is a pro boxer compared to all of Jake’s opponents. I’m happy with this and hopefully, we see a ko for jj

Jake Paul didn’t have the balls to do 2 fights in a day plus KSI has a professional fight, unlike Jake. Jake Paul has no right to discredit KSI.

Jake is still trying to fight MMA fighters. I think his fans deserve better.

Why was Ivan Nikolov replaced?

For his return to the ring the following weekend, Ivan Nikolov has been replaced by KSI when it was discovered that he is supposedly a white nationalist.

The YouTube boxer will fight two opponents in a single match when he returns to the ring after more than a thousand days away. He will face off against rapper Swarmz, who stepped in for the injured Alex Wassabi, and Luis Alcaraz Pineda, who will take Nikolov’s place.

When fans noticed a “White Power” tattoo on the fighter’s stomach, it raised questions about KSI’s decision to challenge Nikolov. Other white nationalist tattoos were also discovered, including one on his bicep that said “Blood & Honour,” the name of a neo-Nazi skinhead gang.

KSI on Ivan Nikolov in his recent video:

“He’s a white supremacist… Ivan isn’t my opponent anymore. He has been removed. The matchmaker also got fired for allowing this to happen in the first place. But yes, my new opponent is Luis Alcarez Pineda.”

What does Nikolov say about the allegations?

Nikolov did respond to the claims on social media, writing: “I have recently seen news of a tattoo referencing ‘white power. This refers to my confidence in my ability as an athlete and has nothing to do with an out-of-date mindset.

Look out for Jake paul’s new battle with Mike Perry on October

Malki Kawa, the manager of Jorge Masvidal, had some opinions regarding Mike Perry calling out Jake Paul, and he decided to tweet them out to the world.

When Perry challenged Paul to a boxing battle, Kawa questioned whether Paul would be on the “A” team.

“Would Jake Paul even be the A side in a fight with Mike Perry??? Mike beat a legit striker just now in boxing. Has more star power than the last 2 he’s tried to fight. Am I wrong?” wrote Malki Kawa.

After leaving the UFC, Perry’s career in combat sports has regained momentum.

In BKFC, “Platinum” has now won two straight battles. The second triumph occurred on August 20 when Perry defeated Michael Page in a six-round bare-knuckle boxing contest by a split decision.

In his post-fight interview, the 30-year-old called out the YouTuber-turned-boxer for a battle:
“Jake Paul, you need an opponent. You need the money fight. I’m the real money fight. Maybe I’ll put the pillows back on if you’re too scared to get in [BKFC],” said Mike Perry.

How successful was Mike Perry in the UFC?

The UFC career of Mike Perry had its ups and downs.

In the $15 billion marketing, “Platinum” fought 15 times but only prevailed in seven of them.

The Americans fought notable opponents like Alan Jouban, Donald Cerrone, Vicente Luque, Paul Felder, Geoff Neal, Santiago Ponzinibbio, and Jake Ellenberger during his time competing in the UFC.

Perry left the UFC after dropping four of his previous five fights in the promotion.

After his final battle against Rodriguez, “Platinum” revealed in an interview with Helen Yee that he had incorrectly believed he had one more fight left on his contract.

I successfully fought my contract, you know what?  I slipped up and dropped the news; I was stupid.  I mistook believed that I had signed a five-bout contract following the Luque battle, after which my nose had broken. I believe it was a four-bout deal, and as I previously mentioned, I still had one fight left.

I guess I still had a headache or something, I don’t know what I was thinking. I thought going into the fight I had one more fight on my contract and then it turns out I didn’t, so I was a free agent there for a little while.” said Perry.

People’s reaction to KSI vs Luis Alcaraz Pineda’s battle

Michael Benson said,

KSI will now face Mexican pro boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda (2-5) as well as rapper Swarmz and is still going to have two fights in one night on Aug 27th. Original opponent Ivan Nikolov has been replaced after controversy emerged over his tattoos having alleged neo-Nazi meaning.

Lord Ron said,

Dr. Shrike said,

The guy is actually pretty good tho his fighting style is similar to Alex Wassabi’s but this was in an amateur fight and he has defo improved.
