Missing Rosa Chacon’s body was found

The relatives of a 21-year-old woman Rosa Chacon who has been missing for months claimed Friday she was found dead on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Relatives of Rosa Chacon say her body was found in a shopping cart, tied up and wrapped in sheets in an alley in the 2300-block of West 24th Place.

The woman was last seen by her family outside her home on January 18. Home security camera video shows Chacon getting into a rideshare in the 2800 block of South St. Louis Avenue. Chacon’s family said she didn’t take anything with her, including her coat or ID.

Rosa Chacon Mother and Father statement

“I miss my baby,” her father Jose Lucio said. “Normally when our daughter leaves, we hear from her. She calls the next day, she calls an hour after she leaves, she’s in a house, she’s secure, she’s nice and warm. But we didn’t hear anything.” “I don’t know how they have the heart to do somebody like that,” said Rosa Chacon, the victim’s mother.

“She said, ‘I’ll be back mom. I got the Uber ride there and the Uber rides back,’ that’s what she told me,” her mother said. The Cook County medical examiner will determine her cause of death. Relatives said they identified her by the tattoos on her body. “She was the party type. She was not trouble,” said Juan Lucio, her brother.

Her mother said she didn’t know where her daughter was going or who ordered the ride for her and that Uber refused to say. A spokesperson for the company says they don’t release private information for privacy and policy reasons.

The area is affected by thieves and men up to no good

Community members are frightened and fearful. Flores says the area is affected by thieves and men up to no good. The area is surrounded by malicious people. People are affected by that.

Meanwhile, the family did report Rosa Chacon missing to Chicago police, but their concern turned to anger after they say authorities did little to help them. “The cop said a crime had to be committed for them to do anything,” said Alejandro Guzman, the victim’s boyfriend.

Police Investigation – Don’t Trust Anybody

“Be sure to watch your daughters more closely,” Rosa Chacon’s father said. “Don’t trust anybody.”

It is not safe to trust anybody with new identities. It is better to safe play nowadays. Mostly women will be very careful about where they are going and whom they are going.

As Chicago police continue to investigate, community activists are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible.

Thank you all for the prayers and support during this time. I’m Rosa’s oldest sister and I would just like to clarify that thanks to Richart Detective Agency Inc. Who is the one who identified my sister and not Laura. My family wasn’t notified by CPD until way after the fact.

They need to look for the store name on that shopping cart go to the store and get the cameras. Chicago has cameras all over pretty sure a camera somewhere saw who did it. uber should check all the pickups and drop-offs around that location when she went missing.

She’s been missing for 2 months, where has she been, someone had to see who placed her there, it’s a busy street, poor girl R.I.P. hope they get her kidnapper/murderer.

This murderer put her in a shopping cart to move her so he can’t be far from where he kept her, someone had to see something, he has to be close by, hopefully, someone had seen someone with a shopping cart in the area, hopefully, this murderer is caught.
