Wyson Laifoh Popularly known by his stage name WalyCris (Wanyengo) is a Malawian recording artist,songwriter,scriptwriter,actor. He was the Founder and CEO of Wanyengo Movement Record Label.

He was born on September 25, 1997, at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Machinjiri, Blantyre.

WalyCris completed his elementary school at St. Kizito Primary School in Limbe before being accepted to Ngumbe Secondary School in Chileka, Blantyre, to begin his secondary studies.

He next attended Soche Technical College to study motor vehicle engineering (SOTEC).

WalyCris began making music in 2015, but the public first became aware of him in 2017.
