The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of a sports university in Meerut at a cost of Rs 700 crore

Today will be a special day for Meerut, known as the sports city. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the first Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in the state in Meerut. The Prime Minister will also visit the Bhagwan Aghadnath Temple and the Martyrs’ Memorial. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in the midst of development work in Uttar Pradesh.

It will cost around Rs 700 crore to set up the university in Salava and Kali villages of Sardhana city in Meerut. This is stated in an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office. Prime Minister Modi, who is coming to lay the foundation, will stay in Meerut for three hours. The ground breaking ceremony of the Sports University at Salava will be held from 1 to 2.30 pm. The Prime Minister will also interact with 32 players. After that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Delhi from Salwa helipad at 2.45 pm.
