How did Stella Stephens Glover die?

Stella Stephens Glover passed away peacefully at 5:32 p.m. on January 11, 2023, with her family and loved ones at her side.

On Saturday, January 14, 2023, at noon, a memorial service will be held at the Sumiton Civic Center.

Grandparents Carl T. Wilson, Stella D. Wilson, Robert F. and Dorothy M. Stephens, and her nephew Jonathan Christopher Henderson II predeceased her.

Stella Stephens Glover’s mother announced the devastating news on Facebook.

She wrote,

“It is with a heavy heart to make this post. My baby Stella Stephens Glover went to be with God January 11 at 532pm. I asking for prayers to be sent up for her husband and children. This is hard time and they are the most important.

I will miss her smile her attitude and HER. Thank you for all the prayers and please don’t forget what she brought into our lives!”

We’re sorry to have to inform you that Stella Stephens Glover has passed away.

Stella suffered a heart attack in May 2020. She was rushed to UAB when she was only 34 and refused to submit. She used a ventilator for months at a time, underwent vocal cord surgery, and underwent too many other treatments to count.

Then she was diagnosed with COVID, early in 2020, she came through it well. Greg, her husband, prayed together with their kids Kimberly, Amberly, Cody, and Candace.

In the summer of 2021, Stella received the news that a heart transplant was required. The search for a donor was followed by an emotional rollercoaster with high hopes and low valleys.

Things were improving just a few weeks ago while she was receiving treatment at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Hospital. Stella was completing the necessary paperwork and making the last preparations to get her new heart.

She was admitted to UAB Hospital nine days ago after being given the all-clear to spend the holidays at home. With so many problems, including organ failure, things quickly got worse.

The family gathered by her bedside last Wednesday. They bid Stella farewell.

Stella brightened the lives of so many individuals. She accomplished everything with dignity and honour while also loving with all of her heart. She is a mother, aunt, sister, auntie, daughter, and Nonni. She was a woman who was constantly on the move. an advisor to so many. She made time for people no matter the hour or the circumstance. She fought valiantly for her friends and family. She will be sorely missed because right now she is in God’s light, completely healed while looking out at the rest of us who were left behind.

“To say my heart is broken, would be an understatement. Stella was one of the blunt ones, she was one of the caring ones, who didn’t have a filter, she was a spit fire and that’s why so many people loved her. She was always there for me, when my grandmother died she was there, and when Zack died she was most definitely there. She’d come pick me up in that black accord and we would just ride and go sit and talk for hours it seemed like. She was the very first friend I made in beauty school and she took me under her wing. One of the worst things anyone can go through in life is losing a loved one. Any journey must have a destination at the end. The person’s time on earth has regrettably come to an end now that they have died.
