What happened to Ryan Shepard?

In a heartbreaking event, Ryan Shepard, who collaborated with Eminem in the early 2000s, passed away at the end of January.

According to his brother Kylie, the 40-year-old was struck by a truck in Washington while crossing the street. He was taken to the hospital almost away, but regrettably, they were unable to rescue him.

Kyle revealed that Ryan served as Eminem’s stunt duplicate, picture double, and stand-in, and even made an appearance at the MTV Movie Awards as Rap Boy, the rapper’s superhero alter ego.

He returned to the stage for Eminem’s 2002 Anger Management Tour and made an appearance as Eminem’s double in the Purple Hills music video by D12.

Kyle claims that Ryan was extremely brilliant. Ryan then worked as a mechanical engineer for rides at Disney before transferring to Elon Musk’s SpaceX as a test automation engineer.
