Robin Sewell’s unexpected passing shocks his fans friends and family members. Robin’s demise news was announced by the following message posted on Robin’s loving partner’s official Facebook page. 

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that Robin Sewell passed away on Friday 12 May, due to complications after an emergency surgery for a ruptured peptic ulcer. Rob was my loving partner, a cherished son to Jeanny, and a big brother to Kevin. Rob, we will miss you dearly.

According to official sources, it was confirmed that Robin died as a result of complications following an urgent procedure for a ruptured peptic ulcer. Our deepest condolences will go to Robin’s Family and friends during this difficult time.

A professional ballroom dancer, Robin Sewell was born on December 22, 1979, in Durban, South Africa. He has danced competitively with Beate Kaulitz, Elisabeth Haraldsdottir (January 2002–November 2003), Nuria Santalucia (December 2003–June 2005), Nicole Cutler (June 2005–June 2006), and Alarna Donovan (January 2007–January 2008).

The Amateur Latin Open champion in 2002 was Robin Sewell and Elisabeth Haraldsdottir of Iceland. He finished second in England and second in the closed British Championships alongside Nicole Cutler.
