“I am incredibly saddened to bring you the news that Officer Robert Guerrero #3072 passed away yesterday evening after suffering a sudden medical event while off-duty. Events like this remind us of the deep bonds that bind us together as brothers and sisters in blue.
Robert was an excellent officer and his service and dedication to this department will never be forgotten, but even more than this, he was a beloved son, father, and friend to so many. I ask that you please support each other through this hard time and please keep Robert’s family in your prayers.

Fort Worth has lost a dedicated public servant. An unexpected medical issue happened while Officer Guerrero was off duty. Therefore, he passed away last night after suffering a medical emergency.
