Her parents are Coach David Barker and his wife Heather. Both are former graduates of Dresden High School.
All of us extend our heartfelt sympathy to Coach Barker and his family. Our community will lift them up in prayer in the days to come.”

Coach David Barker and his wife Heather are her parents. They both attended Dresden High School in their earlier years. They had no idea that today would be a parent’s worst nightmare when they got up this morning.

Reese Barker was unique in every way. In this dark environment, she was a dazzling beacon of hope. She did it big and with love. She was a hoot. She had courage. She showed kindness to those who most needed it.

She cherished Jesus. She felt compelled to live her life for Him and to share with others her love for Him and what He had done for her in order for them to feel the same. Everyone is depressed today, more so than words could possibly convey. In this difficult time, we express our condolences to Barker’s family and friends.
