A Jewett City man perishes in a motorbike accident in Plainfield. Nathan A. Carcieri of Jewett City, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly after a tragic accident leaving his family and loved ones in utter despair.

His tragic death has left everyone within the community, especially his family and friends, in a state of absolute devastation as they mourn the death of the late Nate Carcieri. Here’s what we know about Nate Carcieri Motorcycle accident.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Plainfield 

On Thursday, a Jewett City man died in a motorbike accident near Plainfield, according to authorities. Around 8:40 p.m., the Plainfield Police Department responded to a report of a collision with serious injuries in the vicinity of 154 Canterbury Rd.

At the scene, authorities discovered that 38-year-old Nathan A. Carcieri of Jewett City was riding his 2012 Yamaha motorbike in a westbound direction when he lost control, veered off the road, and collided with a stone wall.

Carcieri was attended to by emergency responders at the site, and after being taken to Backus Emergency Care Centre, he was subsequently declared dead. The Plainfield Police Department is looking into the collision.

Nate Carcieri died after life-threatening injuries

Members of the Plainfield Police Department, Plainfield Fire Department, and American Legion Ambulance rushed to the location of 154 Canterbury Road on June 29, 2023, at approximately 8:39 p.m., for a report of a motorbike crash with serious injuries.

Nathan A. Carcieri, 38, of Jewett City, Connecticut, was the motorcycle’s driver when emergency medical workers arrived and started treating him.

After being treated for life-threatening injuries at the scene, Carcieri was taken by American Legion Ambulance to the Backus Emergency Care Centre in Plainfield, Connecticut.

Around 9:27 p.m., Carcieri was declared dead at the hospital. Following an autopsy scheduled for June 30, 2023, Carcieri was later moved from the Emergency Care Centre to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Connecticut.

Ongoing Investigation

Investigation at the scene revealed that Carcieri was riding his 2012 Yamaha YZFR6L motorbike west when he was involved in the accident.

Later, Carcieri lost control of the motorbike, sending it flying off the road and into a stone wall. The collision did not result in any additional injuries. The Plainfield Police Department is still looking into the accident.
