Who was Mike Batayeh?
Actor Mike Batayeh played Dennis Markowski in the TV series Breaking Bad. He has also acted in the films American Dreamz (2006), This Narrow Place (2011), and Detroit Unleaded (2012).
Mike was from Detroit, Michigan, USA. He has made prominent appearances as an actor in guest roles and recurring roles on several television programmes, including Everybody Loves Raymond, The Sheild, Sleeper Cell, Touch, and Breaking Bad.
Along with his major part in Detroit Unleaded, he co-starred in films including American Dreams, Gas, American East, Don’t Mess With The Zohan and American Dreams.
Mike has performed and been the headliner at prestigious comedy clubs around the country, including Gotham in New York City and Laugh Factory(regular), Comedy Store, Improv, and Icehouse in Los Angeles.
He was a member of the first group of foreign comedians to play for local audiences in the Middle East, in locations including Dubai. He shot a comedy special for Showtime Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, where he was invited twice in a row by the royal family for the Amman International Comedy Festival and Nazareth.

Batayeh began his career in entertainment by working with Frank John Hughes in films like “Blink of an Eye” (1999). He began acting in more dramatic parts in the early 2000s, including appearances on “Night Stalker” (2005–06), “Pepper Dennis” (WB, 2005–06), and “Sleeper Cell” (2005–07).
He appeared on “Life” (2007-09), “Touch” (Fox, 2011-13), and “Real Husbands of Hollywood” (BET, 2012-). Moreover, he made an appearance in “Battle Creek” (CBS, 2014–15).
He also had an appearance in the 2013 E.J. Assi drama “Detroit Unleaded”. The most recent appearance of Batayeh was in “Marco Polo” (2014-).
