Three persons were shot dead in the incident, which occurred on Philippa Street in South Bend, according to South Bend Police.
In a shooting on the west side of South Bend, one person is dead and two others are critically injured.
Marlon Hudson, 25, has been named by police as the victim who, passed away in the incident. Ages of the other victims were 28 and 22, respectively.

Around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a gunshot took place in South Bend’s 700 block of Philippa Street. The two victims who were still alive were transported to the hospital. Their conditions remain unknown.
South Bend Police Chief Scott Ruszkowski said,
“Here is a whole another neighborhood, all communities all shook up yet again. We just got done with phenomenal work from another unfortunate homicide and we are now dealing with three people being shot here.”
Police are seeking to speak with any potential witnesses. The Violent Crimes Unit is looking into the case. Thursday at 11 a.m., police are scheduled to hold a press conference to provide an update on the investigation.
