The family claims that the encouragement they received during the weekend was helpful.
They added:
“We would like to express our deepest appreciation to each and every one of you who has reached out with kind words, prayers, and unwavering support.
“Your love and solidarity have brought a glimmer of light during this darkest hour, and we are eternally grateful for your presence in our lives.”
The extended family launched a Just Giving web page to support Joshua’s parents, and it has already exceeded its initial fundraising goal of £500 by more than £6,500.
It read:
“In the midst of this profound loss, we stand together to extend our support to Joshua’s parents, who now face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their beloved son. In addition to the emotional burden they bear, they also confront the daunting task of arranging a proper farewell for their precious son, Joshua.
We recognise that while no amount of support can fully heal their hearts, we can come together as a community to provide some relief in their time of need. With that in mind, we have launched this JustGiving campaign in loving memory of Joshua. Our goal is to alleviate the financial strain on his parents during this difficult period.”

Joshua Lloyd, 12, was discovered at Telford Langley School on Friday in a severe condition as witnesses frantically attempted to revive him. While paramedics raced to Dawley’s Telford Langley School in Shropshire, witnesses reportedly fought to save him.
When the ambulances came, they hurried Joshua to the hospital while still attempting to save him. Though paramedics worked quickly to get him to the Princess Royal Hospital, he passed away soon after.
The horrific incident took place on Friday at about 4 p.m., and according to authorities, the 12-year-old is believed to have experienced a medical emergency.
According to the West Midlands Ambulance Service, they responded to calls about a child who had passed out at a school.
A spokesman added:
“The first ambulance arrived six minutes after the call and was backed up by a second ambulance, a paramedic manager and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford.
“On arrival, crews found a patient in a critical condition, already receiving medical support from bystanders. Crews took over and provided advanced care to the child before he was taken on blue lights to Princess Royal Hospital.
“The doctor and critical care paramedic on the aircraft travelled with the ambulance crew on the way to hospital, where medics were on standby to receive the child.
“Sadly, shortly after arrival at hospital it became apparent nothing could be done to save the child despite everyone’s best efforts and he was confirmed deceased.”
Joshua Lloyd died suddenly, and since then, the cause of death has been a hot topic on social media. According to some, he may have had asthma, which is why he may have passed out. The cause of his death has not yet been made public by the police or his family.

The force said: “West Midlands Ambulance Service alerted us that they were responding to a medical emergency involving a child at a school in Telford. Telford Langley School has also paid tribute.
Head teacher, Steve Carter, said: “Joshua Lloyd was a lovely young man and an excellent student. He was a charming and kind boy, popular with his peers and the staff, with a fabulous future ahead. His time was tragically cut short, and we cannot express just how much sympathy we feel for his family and friends at this time.”
Local councilor and leader of Telford & Wrekin Council, Shaun Davies, told the Mirror: “The news of Joshua’s passing has really touched our community. As a dad myself, I can’t begin to imagine how his family are feeling. My heartfelt condolences are with them, with his friends and with the whole school at this terribly difficult time. The way people have rallied together to support the family financially is incredible and I’d like to thank everyone for the kindness they’ve shown.”
