A beloved Priest and Father of Frank Pavone have passed away recently at the age of 90. Let’s see what happened to him in detail in this article.
Frank Pavone’s father: Joseph Pavone Dead
Friends, I am sad to inform you that my Dad, Joe, passed away early this morning. These photos are from the 90th birthday party we had for him this past July.
I know my mom, Marion, will appreciate all your prayers both for him, for her, and the family. We will get your messages of condolence to her through Mail@priestsforlife.org… and I will let you know the wake and funeral arrangements — all those who can be with us are more than welcome. Friends, we are all in the Lord‘s hands and he knows what he is doing.
Who is Frank Pavone?
A laicized Catholic priest and American anti-abortion campaigner, Frank Anthony Pavone was born on February 4, 1959. He is the chairman and pastoral director of Priests for Life’s (PFL) Rachel’s Vineyard initiative and the organization’s national director.
He also holds the positions of Pastoral Director for the Silent No More campaign and President of the National Pro-Life Religious Council, a coalition of anti-abortion Christian groups.
In November 2022, he was “defrocked”—removed from the priestly state—for “blasphemous communications on social media” and “continuous disobedience” toward his bishop.

Oh, Fr Frank, I’m so very sorry. “Your loved one is safe in My Keeping.”-Jesus. I’m sure Dad will be covering you with his loving protection God bless!
So sorry for your loss. Losing a Father no matter the age is hard! Praying for your Mom and the whole family circle. And thank you for your faithfulness in standing for Life over all these years. Our Father in Heaven sees it all. No religious authority can ever take that away. Your reward shall be great in Heaven. Christmas and New Year blessings to you in the beautiful name of Jesus. I love how Jesus first identified with us as a Man by coming as a tiny helpless, vulnerable unseen Fetus in his earthly mother Mary’s womb. Keep going in 2023! “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.”
Father Frank, I was already crying a lot over how you are being persecuted, and now this. I am profoundly sorry for you, your mom, and your family in the loss of your dad. It seems like your time of trials and tests is continuing. I am and will continue to pray for you, your family, and your ministry every day
What a God-incidence: your dad entered into Eternal Life on this day we celebrate the Holy Innocents. Mr. Joseph Pavone, who along with his wife, said ‘yes’ to the gift of life brought into the world a man who in turn said ‘yes’ to God, thereby saving many souls AND many holy innocents! May his soul Rest In Peace and intercede on your behalf, Father Pavone! Your mom and all of you are remembered in my prayers!

Fr. Frank, I remember meeting your wonderful parents back in 2001 at the NRTL event honoring you at the Waldorf Astoria. They were so proud. RIP and blessings to you and mom.
