Turbo had problems breathing on June 1st, and he was taken to the hospital. He spent some time in the ER and then, after aspirating some fluids, was transferred to the ICU.

The physician decided it would be better to do a tracheotomy and place the patient on a ventilator for a period. His parents were able to pay him a visit in the hospital. He indicated with his eyes that he knew who they were. Then the doctor claimed that he had been without oxygen for 20 minutes. He had many monitors to keep an eye on his health and his mental activity. John fought until his last breath.

Unfortunately, John Shatesky passed away. He was much adored and a fantastic buddy. Another angel was sent from heaven by God to keep watch over and lead the rest of us here on earth.
