Jahtay Winchester, a resident of Lee County, Chicago, Illinois passed away unexpectedly in a Albany shooting.

Albany Ga Police Department also confirmed the death of the 20-year-old guy on their social media page, saying,

The Albany Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 700 block of W. Tift Ave. A 20-year-old male was shot and succumbed to his injuries.

Jahtay Winchester killed in Albany shooting

Jahtay was killed in the shooting that took place in the 700 block of West Tift Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to Coroner Michael Fowler.

But it was not known that who killed him. Jahtay went to Lee County High School and worked at Ralph Lauren.

The authorities are now reaching out to potential witnesses, urging anyone with information about the fatal road traffic collision to come forward.
